About
Our Story
There is a specific frustration that every devoted dog owner knows. You find a groomer. Something is off. You try another. Still not quite right. You tell yourself you are being too particular, but you keep looking, because you know what the experience should feel like even if you have never seen it done properly. That frustration is why Project Fur exists. Our founder spent years moving between groomers, not out of habit but out of hope. Hope that the next one would be the place. A space gentle enough, attentive enough, worth coming back to. It never quite was. So he built it himself.
The decision was personal long before it was professional. His first dog was Misty. She was the one who taught him what it truly means to be in charge of a life, not just the feeding and the walks, but the full weight of living for someone else., of making their world as good as it can possibly be. Misty changed what he understood about care.
Every dog that came after her carried that same lesson forward.
Project Fur was built for all of them.
Our Mission
We exist to be the place your dog actually wants to come back to.
Not a visit your dog tolerates. Not an errand you feel guilty about. A routine, something familiar and calm and good, that your dog recognizes before you even pull into the street.
Every decision at Project Fur from appointment only scheduling, gentle handling, pet updates we send you mid-visit, the way we pace each session to the dog in front of us, comes from one belief. That grooming done right is not a service. It is an act of care. And your dog deserves to feel the difference.
